Gary and Debbie,

So sorry to hear about the loss of your mom. I was only able to meet Mrs. Perdue just a few times. I know she was a special lady. My thoughts, prayers, and love are with you at this time. Please let me know if you need anything.

What a shock it was to see in the paper that my daddy's sister had passed away. I check the Roanoke Times on line every day and was not aware of Mabel's passing until I got to work this morning. Although I've been gone from Roanoke for many years now I've thought about Mabel often. It's at times like this that we really wish we had kept in touch. Please know that the entire family is in my thoughts and my prayers.

I worked with Mabel at Lewis Gale Hospital. She was one of the finest ladies I have ever met. My thoughts and prayers are with the family at this time.
