Waitman Weeks Obituary

Waitman Wayne Weeks, 67, of Roanoke, passed away Saturday, September 6, 2008. "Wayne" is predeceased by his parents Francis and Lottie Grimes Weeks, brother, Kermit Weeks and his sister, Joyce Collins. He is survived by his loving wife of 18 years, Bonnie H. Weeks; daughter, Teresa Weeks; son, David Weeks; grandsons, David and Michael; three great-grandsons; sister, Helen McHone; several nieces, nephews, cousins and many special friends, including "Wayne's" companion dogs, Fluffy and Malie. Friends are welcome to call Monday, September 8, 2008 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Rader Funeral Home, 630 Roanoke Road, Daleville where a service celebrating "Wayne's" life will be held Tuesday at 3 p.m. in Rader's Chapel with the Rev. Bruce Robinson officiating. Interment Mill Creek Cemetery. Arrangements Rader Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Daleville, Virginia.

I had the pleasure of working with Wayne at Anthem. He was a very caring individual and has been missed since his retirement. My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

I was so very sorry to hear that Wayne had passed away. I worked with him at Anthem and he was such a nice person. He has been missed here at work since his retirement.

I'm very sorry to hear of Wayne's passing and my thoughts and prayers are with the family. I know that he will be missed.
Wayne was a very nice person and always willing to help in any way he could. We missed him when he retired and looked forward to his visits.
