Christine Mottesheard Obituary

Christine Reba Mottesheard, 83, of Hopewell, Va., passed away on Sunday, September 07, 2008. She was born in Roanoke, Va., the daughter of the late Samuel A. and Lula Woolridge Parker. Mrs. Mottesheard was a past member of the First Christian Church, Roanoke. Mrs. Mottesheard is survived by a loving husband, Harold E. Mottesheard; and three daughters and their families. The family will receive friends at the Hopewell chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 9, 2008 from 7 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will follow there in the chapel on Wednesday at 11 a.m. with interment in Sunset Memorial Park, Chester. Flowers are welcome, or memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Alzheimer's Association. Condolences to the family may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com.

WHAT A WONDERFUL LADY SHE WAS ALWAYS KIND AND CURTEOUS TO EVERYONE WHOM CAME TO PEEBLES.
AS A YOUNG CHILD MY FAMILY DID A LOT OF SHOPPING THERE FOR SCHOOL CLOTHES AND I DO REMEMBER HER DEARLY. DEEPEST REGRETS

She is finally at peace and no longer has any pain. She will be missed by everyone that knew her. She has touched the lives of everyone in her family in one way or another and there will always be great memories of this great woman.
