Doug and Marshall:
Janie was such a fun person to be around. I have many memories of her and all the things she impressed on me. She was a "go getter." I remember her telling me how to build a rock wall. She did it, and so could I (she said!). I never did, but I admired her for it. She was a lady barber, something rare back then when she started. I loved sweeping up the hair cuttings around that barber chair when I was little. She was so funny and always had us laughing. I enjoyed our talks in Walmart when I saw her shopping. She was proud of you both. She told me of the trips she and Ben had gone on or were planning. I am glad she found Ben after Carl passed away. She was a special lady and I am glad she was my aunt. I will miss her.

Doug and Marshall and all the family
If we all lived our lives with the fullness that Janie lived hers our regrets would be few. Janie had the capacity to make someone feel special just by being in her presence and her sense of fun was endless, I know she left eternal memories with us all.
I love you and will keep my memories of her safe in heart and thank you for sharing her life with me.
One of her many nieces
