Mildred Faulkner Obituary

Mildred L. Barker Faulkner, 86, of Roanoke, went to sleep peacefully on Monday, September 8, 2008. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul H. Faulkner; parents, Charlie and Stella Barker; and sister, Barbara Pandlis. Surviving are her sons, Paul W. Faulkner and wife, Norma Faulkner, and Ronald "Fuzz" Faulkner and wife, Carolyn "Sissy" Faulkner; sister, Norma Dudley; special niece, Jeanesta Pandlis; several nephews; and special greatgranddaughter, Briana M. James. The family would like to acknowledge her special and loving neighbors. She enjoyed her flowers and feeding her squirrels. Funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, September 11, 2008, at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel. Interment will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Oakey's North Chapel, 540-362-1237.
