To Eugene's family,
I am deeply sorry for and overwhelmed by your loss. While the pain is difficult to bear, God has a plan that surpasses all understanding. Allow God to comfort you and bring peace to your heart and mind. God will always be there for you, even at your lowest point.
I, too, am saddened by Eugene's passing. He was more than just my brother-in-law, I loved him like a big brother. He will always be missed!

I'll never forget that Sunday. It started as a normal sermon I preached that day and then a handsome, big, strong, young man in a shiny white suit came walking down the isle for prayer. It was Eugene Casey, the father who had just given to me the care of my new family member Chase. Eugene allowed us to become his parents. God ordained it all. That day we prayed and no doubt God made a difference in Eugene's life. As I prayed over him those last few hours I knew that God's love and mercy was extended to Eugene. I am glad to have been apart of his life. I can never forget him. Every time I see Chase there he will be. May God grant him eternal peace and may all the family who loved him so much be comforted by God's love. Thanks Eugene for allowing me the greatest part of my life... Chase ...your son and mine.

To Eugene's family and friends we, the Criner family, wish to express our sympathy. You will be in our prayers through this difficult time. Eugene touched our lives with his beautiful son Chase. We are Chase's aunt and uncle and we are blessed to have him in our lives. I know that Chase will miss his "Daddy Eugene" greatly. We wish to also extend our thoughts and prayers to the Brinkley's. It was God that brought you into the lives' of Eugene and Chase at such a very important time. Our family appreciates you so much.

It is with great sadness that we, the Swaine Family, have learned of the unfortunate death of Eugene B. Casey, Jr.
Eugene was part of our family and he leaves behind to mourn with us his children, Blake Eugene Casey and LaShawna Natrice Casey. We will all miss his presence, but always remember and embrace his contributions to the ranks of our family especially the first two grandchildren, who we love and adore.
In closing, I wish to share one of the days that Eugene made us all laugh and cheer; He decided that he could ride a horse like Michael, Phillip and Lance Swaine. The horse was high-spirited, but so was Eugene - Well, to say the least, Eugene got up off the ground and back on the horse, and he got up off the ground again and got back on the horse; I believe it was at that point that we realized that he would make a good old "country-boy".
Eugene’s passing will be very difficult for our family and we ask for your prayer in dealing with the loss of one of our own.

Eugene (Sweet-Tart)I will never forget your sweet smile but I have your son, my grandson Chase, to always remind me. When I first met you, I never would have dreamed that our hearts would be forever entwined. I will see you again and then there will be no more tears.

My heartfelt prayers and love to Eugene's family and friends.
The circumstances that caused our paths to cross were ordained of God -- Eugene's son, Chase, is the light and life of mine and Jim's lives. During the early years of Chase's life, we were able to spend quite a bit of time getting to know Eugene and visiting with him. We have some wonderful memories that we will always cherish.
We look forward to the day when we can see Chase's "Daddy Eugene" once again in Heaven.
May he be at peace and forever be happy!
