Betty Fixx Mohler

Betty Fixx Mohler, 97, of Rockbridge Baths, Va., died on Friday, September 19, 2008, in Stonewall Jackson Hospital. She was born August 21, 1911, in Rockbridge County, a daughter of the late Guy Oliver Fixx and Mary Lula Fixx. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Herman A. "Jake" Mohler; a daughter, Betty Lou Mohler; a son, Andrew Wayne Mohler and wife, Donna May T. Mohler; a grandson, Alan Lynn Little; and a son-in-law, Charles H. Little. Surviving are a son, Phil Mohler and wife, Beverly, of Rockbridge Baths; a daughter, Jean M. Little, of Rockbridge Baths; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two greatgreat-grandchildren; and a sister, Dorothy Fixx Rowland, of Gray, Tenn. Graveside services will be held 2 p.m. on Sunday, September 21, 2008, at Ebenezer United Methodist Cemetery with the Rev. Ray Tucker officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Ebenezer United Methodist Church, 73 McCurdy Lane, Rockbridge Baths, Va. 24473 or Rockbridge Baths Fire Department, 5024 Maury River Road, Rockbridge Baths, Va. 24473.
