Rob, like all your friends and family, the one thing I remember about you over anything else was your easy smile and the way you could light up any room. Debbie and I, and all of Robs friends in northern Virginia are still processing and trying to understand this tragic event, and would like to express our deepest condolences to Robs family, Tammy, and his two beautiful daughters Vicky and Mariah. Rob and I worked together in the mid-90’s, we were roommates, and very close friends. Rob made 3 trips to northern Virginia over the past 7 months to see and spend time with his friends, I will cherish every last moment we were able to share with him. I will always remember and love everything about Rob that made him such a special person. I miss my buddy and know he will be watching over everyone that was special to him.

Rob, although our visits were far and few between, you were never far from our hearts. Each moment was a moment to charish. Grandma loved your visits when you were back home. She enjoyed seeing you and catching up. We all are going to miss you. I ran across this poem and wanted to share it with the family.
