Remebering summers at the log house and visiting Aunt Teen at the farm are some of my fondest memories, gathering eggs and fishing in the pond. I always felt she was so welcoming and was the sweetest person I ever met. I'm so glad my husband and children were able to meet her too. We will see her again! My prayers are with you all that she left behind.

Aunt Teen was such a great example of a loving, sweet Christian woman to me. Even though I did not see her much, I kept up with her through my mother, Marge Wilson and Nana Potter. She lived a long life that was pleasing to the Lord. I will miss hearing about her mountain climbing at 90 and other adventurous and cute stories.

There was so much warm love that emanated from Aunt Teen. She drew us back to the mountains of Va. again and again. I feel so blessed to have had her in my life. Now she is reunited with her Lum. My condolences to her children and grandchildren and friends in her neighborhood.

Visiting Aunt Teen and Uncle Lum is such a wonderful memory for me. Since I lived in large cities (Washington DC and Detroit) it was always like visiting a special story book setting with wonderful relatives, beautiful surroundings and yummy food, too. Though these childhood visits were nearly 50 years ago now I remember them so clearly and with great pride that these people were MY family. I love you, Aunt Teen.

I have wonderful memories of Aunt Teen and Uncle Lum at the little house in the mountains when we visited with our family from Indiana. We will miss her for now, but look forward to seeing her again for eternity. Our prayers are with all of you, her wonderful family.

I love my Aunt Teen and selfishly will miss her until we meet again in heaven. But I know Christ crowned her with a glorious crown for a job well done. A lady full of love and grace, a saint who leaves her handprints all over our hearts, we look forward joyfully to our reunion.
Thank you, God, for blessing me with Aunt Teen.

I remember Mrs. Potter when she and my grandmother were friends, Margie Burns. A sweet lady, always with a smile. When I would drive down Rt 779 I always glanced over at her house.. My sincere sympathy.

Porter and I send our deepest sympathy to the family. We have known the "Lum" Potters for many years and they were always good neighbors in the Haymakertown community. May the good Lord keep you in his arms as you go through these bad times.
