Mrs. Spradlin,
Mary Lee, Dianne, Wanda, Tony, Ricky, and Sherry
I want to say how sorry I am to hear about Gene. There are so many memories that it's hard to take all of this in. All I can do is say that I'm thinking of you and wish there was something I could do to help take away the pain. May God be with you.

Ann and Family,
This is a copy of the letter written and delivered to you.
Dear Friends,
I took this photograph about a year or so ago of Richard while we were having coffee at the shell station. He was considered the president of the afternoon coffee club. People that did not know us thought we were brothers, because they always saw us together there. Richard was a man of few words people tell me, but we had some great conversations together. He talked about the time Tony took him trucking, and when him and Ann rode the Goldwing around the country. He always kept me updated about his mother and many other things that were going on with him. He never asked much of anyone, but was always there if you needed some help.
There won't be a day go by that I won't miss him!!
Best Regards,
Rod Adams

Wanda,
It's been a long time but I remember when we were in school coming over to your house and how nice your dad was to me. I think about you often. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. Keep his memories alive in your hearts until you see him again...and I truly believe you will. If you need a shoulder please know I'm still here for you.
