Kenneth Haynes Obituary

Kenneth Ray Haynes, 60, of Rocky Mount, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 4, 2008. He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Easter Haynes. He is survived by his wife, Violet Haynes; two daughters, Tena (Brian) Kuehn, of Vinton, Christy (Andy) Freeman, of Port St. Lucie, Fla.; three grandchildren, Lauren Kuehn, Jacob Kuehn and Hannah Freeman; two brothers, Claude (Phyllis) Haynes, of Vero Beach, Fla. and Donnie (Carolyn) Haynes, of Wirtz; two sisters, Peggy (Gene) Grainger and Becky Griff, both of Charlottesville; numerous other family members and friends. Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 11 a.m. Monday, with Chaplain Rick Poland officiating. Interment will follow in Mountain View Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Carilion Hospice of Franklin County, 390 South Main Street, Rocky Mount, Va. 24151. His family will be receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Flora Funeral Service, 665 South Main Street, Rocky Mount.
