Joseph Anthony Trovata

Joseph Anthony Trovata, Sr. 92, of Shawsville, Va. passed away Friday, October 3, 2008, after a long battle with lung cancer. Joe was a World War II veteran, having fought in the Battle of the Bulge. Born in Monaville, W.Va., he moved to Buffalo, N.Y. where he worked and retired from the Ford Motor Company. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Angelina Trovata. Surviving are his son, Joey Trovata, Jr. and his wife, Charlene, Shawsville; daughter, Ann Vento, Buffalo, N.Y.; grandchildren, A.J. Trovata and his wife, Aleah, Salem, Ashley Vento, Buffalo, N,Y.; great-grandchildren, Anthony Jr. and Ava Trovata, of Salem. The Trovata family would like to give a special thank you to his great caretakers from Good Samaritan Hospice of NRV, Karen and Christina and the staff . Very special thanks to Morgan, who sat with and kept Dad Company and to the friendly staff at the VA Hospital who gave Dad great care. Funeral services will be held in Binghamton, N.Y. Thursday, October 9, 2008. Interment will follow Friday, October 10, 2008 in New York. James V.
