My uncle Bob is someone I will never forget. When I was in the Marine Corps in SoCal and had not scene him since I was 4 or 5 he was always glad to see me when I came up to LA to visit. He was just a fun guy to hang out with and I was proud to call him my uncle... 25 years later I came off the Appalachian trail to visit Him and Linda and he was so happy to see me. He took especially great pleasure in feeding me till I thought I was gonna burst and refused his offer of more. It took 3 days but he succeded.. All my time with him.. which wasn't near enough, I'll always remember with a smile on my face. I will miss him greatly.

Bob and I were close friends since the early 1970's......I remember so many funny experiences we shared in the days of our younger years. Bob, worked for many years with my brother Brad Walker and cousin Mark Weitzell. Bob and I lived near each other in southern California beach communities. We have not been in touch for many years, however everytime some mentions "Bob Hearn", I can not help but smile and grin. Bob "Reb" has a very speical place in my heart and thoughts ......and prayers to the family at the time of his loss. Ron Walker

A bright light went out when Bob left us. I can still hear his laugh and his voice... even though I haven't seen Bob in quite a while. I always had a smile on my face after any phone conversations we had. I was a young girl when I first met Bob and he has always had a special place in my heart and that of our family. So many happy memories of fun times together. I will cherish them forever. It is comforting to know that he is pain-free and entertaining the other angels in heaven with his own brand of "Reb" humor!

I wish I could have known you better because you were such a wonderful brother-in-law. The little time we had together was special and I'm glad we had a nice visit with you and Linda.

Bobby, I am so glad that I was able to see you and have a wonderful visit before you left us. I know that you are with Jesus and that now you finally know what Fatherly Love feels like.
Your loving sister,
