Betty Huff Wade

Betty Huff Wade, 63, of Floyd, Va., passed away on Thursday, October 9, 2008. Betty was a a Beautician for 40 years, and a member of Word of Truth Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Claude Wade, of Floyd, Va.; her children and their spouses, Jeffrey and Vickie Wade, of Floyd, Va., Amy and Brett Bolen, of Willis, Va., and Jason Wade and friend, Stacy Naggy, of Floyd, Va.; her brothers and sisters, Calvin Huff, of Roanoke, Va., Galen Huff, of Floyd, Va., Connie Belcher, of Floyd, Va., Margaret Mende, of Floyd, Va., Lawrence Huff, of Hawaii, Darrell Huff, of North Carolina, and Mark Huff, of Floyd, Va.; six grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 11, 2008, at Gardner Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Lee Shelton, the Reverend Stephen Lackey, and the Reverend Murray Agee officiating. Interment will follow at the Lee Cemetery at Tuggles Gap. Friends may call after 1 p.m. on Friday, October 10, 2008, at Gardner Funeral Home where the family will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Arrangements are being handled by Gardner Funeral Home, Floyd, Va.
