Angelina Mabry Obituary

Angelina Perrone Mabry, of Christiansburg, died Thursday October 9, 2008 at her home. Mrs. Mabry was a World War II Veteran and volunteered at Montgomery Regional Hospital, R.S.V.P, and the Linus project. She was the daughter of the late Angelo and Anna Perrone, she was also preceded in death by her husbands, Herman E. Maxwell, and Edward Jackson Mabry. She is survived by her children, Dr. Marilyn Semones (Merel Hendricks) of Arizona, Charlene Earles (Johnny), of Baltimore, David Maxwell (Linda) of Christiansburg, Diana Nunley (Jack) of Pulaski, and Susan Graham (Allen) of Christiansburg and David Mabry (Anne) of Alta Vista. Also surviving are fourteen grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren; one sister, Mary Arena also survives. In lieu of flowers the family request contributions be made to Carilion Hospice of the New River Valley, 707 Randolph Street, Radford, Va., 24141. A private graveside service will be held later this week. Online condolences may be sent by visiting hornefuneralservice. com. The family is being served by Horne Funeral Home and Cremation Service.

Such a matriarch!!!The memories of being included in your family will always hold a special place in my heart. Your mother was truly one of a kind, and I always enjojed being in her presence. Her wit and vibrant personality made her so special. You will miss her terribly.
