Karen, Mike and Coby, I can't say how sorry I am for your loss. We are thinking about you a lot. Zane was a great kid to me, I love remembering things about him as he was growing up, and spending some of that time with him. I'll keep thinking of him as being here. If only words & friends could take away the pain we have when we lose a loved one but unfortunately it doesn"t.Karen my thoughts & prayers r with you.I just laid my mom to rest a few months ago,we were so very close,the pain is unbearable.I couldn't imagine it being my child.We're not suppose to bury our children.I can't pretend to know the pain you're going through.All I can say deal with it in your own way at your own time no-one can tell you what or how to feel.GOD BLESS you & your family.If there's anything & I mean anything please let me know.

When it comes to Zane there are not enough words to describe 'Good' because that is what Zane is. He still lives on in others. Zane will be greatly missed. I knew when he was born and the first time I got to meet my Nephew that he was a special child and he proved me right. Zane had personality, charm, good looks. I love all three of my nephews, Michael, Coby and Zane...but there was something so special about Zane...he had that aura, that kindness that is so rare these days and I know that all the good in him was passed to others he knew in his life. Zane will be sorely missed by so many people. I love you Zane, you will always be in my heart and in my soul. I could go on and on about you but I know you're looking down on me thinking how lame of an Aunt I am and that I'm embarrassing you so I will shut up for now just for you Zane. I love you. There are a ton of (((((HUGS))))) and more, a ton of KISSES and more all over that handsome face of yours that are coming your way from me. I know you are with your Grandfather (our Dad) and he is watching out for you. I'll see you in heaven when I get there but for now I'll just wait. I'm trying not to follow a trend about this but it helps me cope a little with this bad situation ...also my wife doesnt know i'm writting this, so it is coming from the heart! Ok most people who know me know i dont do things like this! I worked with Zane... And not to sound corney or anything but this is just how i feel.... He was a great guy, and he did light up a room when he walked into it... When i met Zane about 4 years ago, he was a little wild but over the years of getting to know him, he calmed down alot and realized the responsibilties he had, and matured, then you really realized how much he cared about everyone, especialy his family and friends...When I went to family night the other night it just looked like he was going to get up and walk out! He was always joking around, it's just something he would do! It's hard when you're young and losing friends like that! I have lost other friends in the past when in high school, Joe Bailey, and Mike Scott.... It was hard then just like it is hard now! Like i said i worked with this guy & i wait on him to come in and turn the corner and everything be ok! I know now that it wont be and it is a sad day! I cant believe that this has happened to such a great guy or anyone for that matter! I know he loved his family, especially his neices! He used to tell me stories about them & how good of a time they had together, and when he would go and hang out with them. I couldn't imagine life for them or any of the family now that he is gone... gone to a better place! I know he loved his cars, and motorcycles. The man had a lot of knowledge about both! He was a great man to be around! The guy that was with Zane at the time of the accident aslo works at Oneal steel with me and i know it's hard on him and the rest of his friends! I'm sorry that this has happened, but all we can do now is remember him for everything he has done for us!

Karen, When you and I were in the Andrew Lewis High School together who would have ever thought we would be given children to be taken away so sudden and so early. My son was 21 when he passed away 2 years ago. No mom is suppose to have to lose a child. The pain is awful and noone understands until they are there. I did not know your son but he was a very handsome young man and from what I have read an awesome guy and I am so sorry about this. Please have someone email me and I will contact you anytime.

I wasn't exactly friends with Zane, but i went to school with him and even rode the bus with him years ago. I hung around with people that he did, and from that i know he was a great guy, and i'm very sorry for his family, having to go thru this. it's the worst feeling in the world. I grew to know him when he became a member of the credit union. He was always so plesant and well mannered. What a great mother you have been to raise such a sweet young man. My heart goes out to the Family and Friends of such a great guy that will be missed dearly. I will always remember the last time I seen him which was about 2 weeks ago. He was with his best friends Tim & Nezir and had a smile on his face the whole time that night.
