So sorry to hear of Ruth Ann's passing. She was quite a person. I can remember her in younger days and times laughing about something that she and my father had done in their young days. God Bless.

I first met Ruth as a student at Radford University. I instantly bonded with her and made her my surrogate grandmother. Ruth had a way of keeping me in line without being judgemental. A birthday was not complete without a card sent by Ruth. She never forgot a birthday, and she even sent my daughter, Chloe, birthday cards. Ruth was a thoughtful and beautiful person, and she will be missed. My condolences to her family. I loved Ruth very much.

Ruth and I worked together in Muse hall at Radford Univeristy in the early nineties. We became friends and have kept in touch over the years. She was beloved by the staff and residents at Muse Hall. Ruth was a wonderful woman, and I will miss her greatly. My Condolences go out to her family.

Ruth wasn't just a dear friend, she was part of my family. I certainly thought of her as a "grandmother." I met her at Radford when I was a young student and she was my housemother at Muse. We worked together at RU and became great friends and then neighbors when she found me a place across the street from her. I got to know her family and her friends. We traveled together, gardened in the spring, shopped on the weekends and never missed a day without at least just saying hello. For over fifteen years Ruth has been an important and integral part of my daily life. I will always cherish her memory and her love. I miss you Ruth.
