Pauline Pierce Obituary

Pauline Rose Pierce, 83, of Montvale, Va., died on Wednesday, October 22, 2008, at Bedford County Nursing Home. She was born on August 28, 1925, a daughter of the late Franklin Pierce and Matilda McMillan DeKizer. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Sheela McCoy; and a brother, Earl Pierce. Pauline is survived by two daughters, Jackie Inge and husband, John, of Montvale, and Linda Simpson and husband, Terry, of Conway, Ark.; a son, John Boot, of Coldwater, Mich.; a brother, Frank Pierce, of Lapeer, Mich.; a sister, Cee Arrand, of Vail, Ariz.; a son-in-law, Dave McCoy, of Houston, Texas; 12 grandchildren; 20 greatgrandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. The family would like to send thanks to the Bedford County Nursing Home and to the Bedford Adult Day Care. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Bedford Adult Day Care, c/o Carla Groff, 1617 Oakwood Street, Bedford, Va. 24523.
