Pauline Rose Pierce

Pauline Rose Pierce, 83, of Montvale, Va., died on Wednesday, October 22, 2008, at Bedford County Nursing Home. She was born on August 28, 1925, a daughter of the late Franklin Pierce and Matilda McMillan DeKizer. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Sheela McCoy; and a brother, Earl Pierce. Pauline is survived by two daughters, Jackie Inge and husband, John, of Montvale, and Linda Simpson and husband, Terry, of Conway, Ark.; a son, John Boot, of Coldwater, Mich.; a brother, Frank Pierce, of Lapeer, Mich.; a sister, Cee Arrand, of Vail, Ariz.; a son-in-law, Dave McCoy, of Houston, Texas; 12 grandchildren; 20 greatgrandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. The family would like to send thanks to the Bedford County Nursing Home and to the Bedford Adult Day Care.
