Elmer Lee Alley

Elmer Lee Alley, 71, of Austinville, Va., passed away Saturday, October 25, 2008 at his residence. He was born August 17, 1937 in Carroll County, son of the late Roby and Hazel Sisk Alley. He was a member of the Sheeptown Church of God and was retired from Branch Highways, Inc. of Roanoke. He was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Ann Bishop Alley and a brother, Belford Alley. He is survived by his wife, Lois Quesenberry Alley; two sons, Ronald Alley, Scott Alley and wife Rose all of Austinville, Va.; three grandchildren, Damon Alley and wife, Stacey, Nathan Alley, and Lora Beth Alley; one great-grandson, Camden Alley; one brother, Thurman Alley of Austinville, Va.; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 28, 2008 at 2 p.m. at the Reese Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Tommy Barnes officiating. Interment will follow in the Bethany Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Reese Funeral Home from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday or at the residence at any time. Arrangements by Reese Funeral Home, Austinville, Va.
