Known to some as Edna, Mrs. lafon, Granny, or grango. She was a amazing woman. She was always smiling, even when she was sick and in the hospital. She was always cracking jokes & making people laugh. She always joked with me and michael she was going to have a party when she got better :) she was an amazing woman who deserved the world. We shared our birthdays & most of all I share her memory. To me she was "grango" & i loved her dearly. & always will. R.I.P grango , We all love you & miss you.

To a wonderful Grandmother whom I
wish I had gotten to know better.

Time was very short with you and I
was not always around but you still kept me close in your heart. The times I did get to spend with grandma, she always made me feel loved and wanted. Her laughter and her strength always amazed me.
Even when she was sick she was still trying to bring her family together. Just so you know grandma it worked.
Blessed be the angel that you were.
I love you.

Edna Josephine Lafon, mother, grandmother , friend and devoted Christian. Most called her Granny when referring to or speaking to her. She seldom knew a stranger and anytime someone was in need if she could help she would. Always at peace with her Christianity she severed the Lord faithfully.

No words can express the love I had for Granny, nor how badly she will be missed. The only comfort is knowing that God has called her home to a much better place. A place where she will know no suffering or pain. She was truly a remarkable lady. She helped raise us grandchildren and was always there with a kind word and smile. Our loss of Granny leaves many a memory along with a void that will always be there. God please watch over my Granny for you have called home a true Angel that will be sadly missed. When we look at the stars at night we will know Granny is watching over us with a smile and a guiding hand.

Granny thank you for always being there and all you have done. You are in a far better place I know and some day we will be together again. As I type this a hibiscus tree that refused to bloom this year, that I brought inside, has a perfect bloom on it today. God thank you for the time you allowed us with Granny. I will watch for the added star of Granny watching over us. Granny, I Love You and will always miss you!
