Well Jimmy, with tears in my eyes, I'm preparing to leave Princeton for my last visit to your place at the lake. It was always a great refuge from worries at home. I loved those smoked turkey sandwiches with olives that you prepared for my visits. And, what a great "Uncle" you were to Eric! He now enjoys fishing, and ham and tomatoes are among his favorite foods! Many thanks!
Cousin Mary (aka Parg to you).

Rich Uncle Jimmy, you will forever be the yardstick with which uncles are measured by adoring nephews. I've been in awe from the time you slipped the hostess a $10 spot to let us sit at the table with the best view up at the Lodge of The Peaks of Otter. I'll never forget the time you took us water bed shopping or when you taught me how to properly cast a fishing rod. Thank you for making me feel special. Love, David

Jimmy .... I will always remember our long conversations about our shared passion for commemorative coins. Your enthusiasm, knowledge and humor enhanced our friendship and our enjoyment of all things numismatic. I am enriched having known you and saddened that our conversations have ended. Be well my friend and I will remember you.

Jimmy

We Never Did Say Goodbye
You said you didn’t want to
That was okay, because I didn’t want to either
I said that I would see you again, and I still believe I will
I am sad because I know you were not ready to leave
I am glad, because I know you are no longer scared
I will miss so many things about you…
The way I always felt like your one and only
when I was with you
The way you hugged me (you dirty ol’ fart)
The long talks we had sitting on your deck
And the comfortable silences we were so good at
The way you always begged me to stay just a few more minutes…or hours…or days…
No one will ever take your place in my heart
I love you dear friend
Please watch over me and stay with me always
I will see you again someday…
Until then…I Miss You!

R. I. P. old friend. I have lots of fond memories of you and your exploits. You were a person that could take the path less traveled and enjoy every minute of it. God Bless and keep you.
