Roger Kent (Snapper) Phillips Jr., 35, of Shawsville, Va., passed away on Sunday, October 26, 2008. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. on Wednesday, October 29, 2008, at Maberry Funeral Home. Interment to follow in Duncan Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, October 28, 2008, at the funeral home. Arrangements by Maberry Funeral Home, Floyd, Va. This is to my two sons: Levi and Kent Phillips; Gay and Roger and family. I am so sorry for our lost. i loved your son very much. He was my best friend. We had two beautiful sons together and i thank him for that everyday. I will never forget him. Im with him always and forever. Im here even now still if you need me!

i am so sorry to hear of snapper passing.he was like 1 of my own kids .stayed at my house a lot when he and his family lived on springfield .i know jamie and randall will miss their buddy .my heartfelt condolences to all of the family .
