My heartfelt sympathy goes out to Tom's family. I learned of his passing this evening. Tom was a loving man and was instrumental in my life. I was fortunate to be able to thank him last year for the example he set for me and the lasting impression he has made on my life. Tom's quiet guidance and generous nature are gifts that Tom shared willingly with others. These qualities are among many I remember. Please take comfort in knowing how grateful I am that our paths crossed.

So sorry to hear of Tom's passing. He was a large presence in my youth when I began what has become a life-long friendship with his oldest daughter. I feel honored to be associated with such a remarkable family. I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers.

I will greatly miss one of my favorite golfing partners. Too I will miss our wonderful conversations as we shared our golf. I remember well his quiet ways but also his subtle sense of humor. Tom left me with wonderful memories of our short acquaintance and I will miss him.
