Geneva Maxwell Obituary

Geneva Maye Harris Maxwell, 86, of Willis, passed away on October 31, 2008. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Maxwell, granddaughter, Laura A. Frazier, sister, Marie Myers. She is survived by her children, Elizabeth Ellen Maxwell, Ridgeway, Va., William F. and Edith Mae Maxwell, Ridgeway, Va., Robert L. and Linda Ann Maxwell, Willis, Va.; sister, Irene H. Marshall; brother, Reecy Lenard Harris; eight grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 11 greatgreat-grandchildren; 12 step grandchildren; nine step great-grandchildren; and one step great-great-grandchild. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Monday November 3, 2008, at the Topeco Church of the Brethren, with the Rev. Mike Varner officiating. Interment to follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday November 2, 2008 at Maberry Funeral Home, Floyd. Online condolences may be sent to www.maberryfuneralhome.com
