She was presented the Citizen of the Year Award by the Buena Vista Lion's Club in 2001. She served as Grand Marshall at the Buena Vista Labor Day Parade in 2002. Dillard; and her much loved cousins, Elizabeth Price and Gladys Lotts DeLong. The family would like to thank the Mayflower Assisted Living Residence staff for their loving care of Stella. Without question, Mrs. Magann has been told by her Lord "Well done, thy good and faithful servant!" I count it a blessing of my life that she was my teacher, and my friend for over 60 years! I shall miss her. My prayers and sympathy are with her family and friends at this time. We are all better for having known her!
