Albert Moses Obituary

Albert P. Moses, 91, of Roanoke, passed away Saturday November 1, 2008. He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Mary Moses. Mr. Moses was a member of St. Elias Catholic Church and St. Andrew's Catholic Church. He was born in Roanoke and lived in Maryland for most of his life. He loved baseball, animals and nature. Survivors include his nieces, Marcelle and Elias Melki, Mary Jane Bowling, Princeton, W.Va., Shirley Tourigny, Sutherland, Va.; nephews, Joe Moses and wife Mandy, John Moses, Reed Wheby, Joe Wheby, Princeton, W.Va.; great-nieces, Theresa Melki, Suzanne Melki; great-nephew Daniel Melki. A funeral liturgy will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Elias Catholic Church with the Rev. Claude W. Franklin Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in St. Andrew's Diocesan Cemetery. Arrangements by Oakey's South Chapel.
