Paul Turner Obituary

Paul B. Turner, 82, of Roanoke, passed away on Tuesday, November 4, 2008. He was born in Tams, W.Va., March 25, 1926, son of the late Henry E., and Myrtle Brumfield Turner. His two brothers, Henry E. Turner Jr. and Granville Ennis Turner, also preceded him in death. Mr. Turner served in the US Navy during World War II. He enjoyed fishing, camping and Smith Mountain Lake. He is survived by a niece; a great-nephew; cousins and their families, in the Roanoke and Lynchburg area. Funeral service will be held at the graveside, 2 p.m. Thursday, November 6, 2008 at Fair View Cemetery. Arrangements by Oakey's South Chapel. 540-989-3131.

So sorry to hear of your loss. I remember attending Turner reunions at Uncle Henry's and Aunt Myrtle's house when I was a small child. I haven't seen Paul in many years, but I know he is now resting in the loving hands of our Lord, along with his beloved family.
