My uncle Pat was always there for me when I needed him most or just to say hello in person or by phone.
Miles separated us over the last 8 years but not the bond of love he shared with us all. He was a great
uncle, funny, smart and always right.
No one could ask for a better uncle or friend. He was always the rock of the family for my mom and her brother, uncle Johnnie and as well for all his nephews. We are so sad to say goodbye but are better people for having such a great person in our lives. May you rest in peace Uncle Pat. I Love You.

Memories of 25 years of marriage flooded over me today as I watched my children say goodbye to their father. It has been a horrific year for them and Diana, she is truly a remarkable woman. I sincerely understand the heartbreak, having cared for Pat's mom so many years ago. Pat's love, strength, and courage will live forever in the energy of our children, his greatest gift. He was a special man, unique in his own way and I will miss him forever. Rest in peace and find your special "campground" in Heaven until we meet again and perhaps talk about all of those things left unsaid. Love Martha

Pat was always the nicest man and willing to lend a helping hand to anyone anytime. We worked together many years at Elizabeth Arden and I remember him fondly.

Our bubba. Our hero....Words cannot sum up a lifetime of the most beloved brother one could have. The 3 trout kids, the 3 musketeers,
always. Laugh together, cry together and of course fight together for thats what siblings do.
Always there for each other, blood lines tied us together and our hearts kept us together. Our memories are the most priceless treasures we could have. Your humor was the best medicine you always gave to us and anyone who knew you and always the love. He was a champion who fought with his all just to stay with his loved ones and friends a little longer. You loved your doggies (your babies) your munchie and your two beautiful children, nieces and nephews, brother-in law and us and so many many friends.
You always told us you were the richess and luckiest man in the world because you had everything you needed in these gifts.
He loved to fish and hunt mushrooms, racing and the civil war relic hunting one of his greatess passions.
Anyone who knew our brother, knew they were blessed to have such a friend.....
The best brother, father, companion, uncle, step-dad, step-grandad, brother in law, friend and a great teacher to us all.
You will never leave us, for now you can continue to watch over us all the way you always did and we can find you anytime we need you, we just have to look in our hearts. We love you. Your sissy and brother,
Joyce and Johnnie.....

Great fun memories digging with a true relic hunter and good friend. Shared spots, and friendship with all he interacted with. Strong minded, opinionated, and right all the time. Pat Trout will be missed by all he knew.
