My dad was a very special person; I will always remember the things I learned from him and continue to learn from other people who knew him. I find comfort in the fact that dad loved and was loved by so many people.

Dear Searles Family,
What can I say about Robert? All of my patients are special to me, but some really touch us more as nurses than others. Robert left footprints on a lot of hearts. We loved him very much and will miss him. May God bless and comfort you as your deal with your loss.

Dear Family,
I will remember our wheel chair ride out to the day lillies in full bloom here at The Glebe. Also our many discussions about God and our acceptance of God's forgiveness. I will remember how Bob helped me with ideas for a workshop I held in NC, and about his reaching out for my hand immediately whenever I arrived -- often holding on for the entire visit. A dear soul.
