Don't know why but Uncle Herman has been on my mind today. Maybe because it is summer and around the 4th of July Uncle Hermie and Aunt Julie would come up to PA for a nice long visit. Miss both Uncle Hermie and Aunt Julie so much! I looked up Uncle Herman's name on google and here we are! Hope you are all resting in heaven!

Uncle Hermie--Christmas has passed and yet another New Year is approaching. We all have thought of you on Christmas Day and I know my dad was thinking of you as I looked at him on Christmas Day at times he looked like he was deep in thought. I know he misses you so much because you both had a special bond even though you were miles apart. I know my mom has a special bond with Aunt Julie she always said to me she was the sister she never had. I know you are happy in heaven with our good Lord and all of our family members surrounding you. Keep watch over us and always know we love and miss you!

Your loving niece,

Donna

Aunt Julie, Frank, David, Mike, and Butch,
Our hearts go out to all of you at this time of sadness. Uncle Hermie was such a special uncle. We always looked forward to your visits up to Pa. Made sure we were available to see you both at mom and dad's each time. We had many good laughs with Uncle Hermie which we will remember always.
You all are in our thoughts and prayers.
It is hard for all of you right now, but in the future, conversations will be started about as you were growing up all the funny and loving things you and your dad did, or might have said, and your tears will turn into smiles....REMEMBERING WHAT A GREAT DAD HE WAS.
Love to all,

Dear Aunt Julie, Frank, David, Michael, Butch and Families,

Words cannot express the overwhelming sadness I feel at the beloved loss of our Uncle Hermie. I will always cherish the special memories of Aunt Julie & Uncle Hermie's visits to my parents house in Pennsylvania. Uncle Hermie would light up any room he walked into with his magnetic personality and ready to make you laugh with one of his jokes. I remember our family vacations when we were younger to visit all of you in Roanoke it was like Christmas Day to all of us kids that is how excited we were because we knew we were going to see Uncle Hermie, Aunt Julie and all of our cousins. Those are memories that I will never forget. Most of all Uncle Hermie was my Young and The Restless buddy---we would always talk about what was happening on the soap and how we thought it was going to turn out! Like my daughter Lauren said when I told her he passed away she said Uncle Hermie Rocked even she thought he was neat for what little time she saw him.
Our thoughts and prayers are with each of you during this difficult time. Aunt Julie we are here for you if you need anything. To my cousins and families--I miss all of you just know that your dad loved each of you and was so proud of his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Uncle Hermie I love you and will miss you! You will be Forever in our hearts.

Love, Donna, Ed & Lauren Haberern
