Suzanne Manges Obituary

1937 ~ 2008 Following a lengthy illness, Suzanne Heath Manges has gone to be with her Lord on October 16, 2008, concluding the earthbound life of a wonderful, warm and generous woman. Suzanne was born on November 29, 1937, in Blacksburg, Va. She was loved by many, adored and looked upon as a mentor by young people. She had a love for education and was very accomplished in her life. Suzanne spent a brief time in California, but had a love for the Rocky Mountains, so in the 1990's she moved to Denver, Colo., where from her balcony, she could see the Rockies. She spent her remaining years in Denver. Suzanne will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

I was saddened to hear of Suzanne's passing. We were cousins, and shared many wonderful times when we were young. However, when she left the Roanoke area, we lost touch. I would appreciate hearing of her life in California and/or Denver to update our family genealogy.

My brother , Robert Firebaugh, in Roanoke Va and I , Carol Firebaugh Looney, in Oviedo Fl are cousins of Suzanne and had lost touch with her over the years. I am a 1940 baby and probably played with her at Manges family gatherings. I'm sure that she will be missed by all who knew her.
