Pearl Worley Obituary

Pearl Sink Worley, 85, of Rocky Mount, Va., passed away on Thursday, November 13, 2008. Born January 11, 1923, Pearl was a member of the Beulah Baptist Church. She also retired from Dupont and a home maker. Preceding Pearl in death were her husband, Donald E. Worley Sr.; father and mother, George Kenneth and Maude Sink; brothers, Junior Sink, Delmar Sink, Stafford Sink, Landford Sink, and Fred Sink; and sisters, Christine Ferguson and Rachel Hunt. Surviving to cherish her memory are her son and daughter-in-law, William Donald and Linda Davis Young, of Glade Hill; stepchildren, Bobby and Judy Hodges, Grady and Faye Bollings, Wayne and Linda Cobbler, Ray and Rena Hunt, Satch and Joyce Worley, Gerald and Betty Compton, and Earl and Diane Worley; brother and sister-in-law, Earl and Aileen Sink; sisters and brother-in-law, Kathleen Crook, and Margaret and Elmer Robertson; and sisters-in-law, Ester Sink, Barbara Sink, Gladys Sink, and Ella Mae Sink. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. on Sunday, November 16, 2008, at the Lynch Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ivey Adams and the Rev. Denise Bates officiating. Internment to follow at Franklin Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 16, 2008, from 1 to 2 p.m. at Lynch Funeral Home Chapel and other times at the home of Donald and Linda Young, 930 Golden View Road, Glade Hill, Va. 24092. Arrangements by Lynch Funeral Home, Rocky Mount, Va.
