Arnold Owen Webb

Arnold Owen (Wimpy) Webb, 71, of Floyd, Va., passed away on Friday, November 14, 2008. Wimpy is preceded in death by his father, Archie Nolan Webb; mother, Mary Jordan Turner; and two sisters, Bonnie Webb Peters, Bobbie Meadors. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years and best friend, Nancy Webb; very special son and daughter-in-law, Nolan and Michelle Webb; granddaughters, Christen Webb and fiance, Nathan Thomas, Ashley Webb, and Randy Walters; grandson, Joshua Chrismon; greatgranddaughters, Hailey Bibb and Marley Thomas; sister, Billy Caldwell; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Betty Caldwell, Lynwood and Lorraine Caldwell, and Morris and Norma Puckett; and many special cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Wimpy was an avid animal lover including his cows, horses, and beloved granddogs. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. on Sunday, November 16, 2008, at Gardner Funeral Home with the Rev. Roy Turpin officiating. Interment will follow in Jacksonville Cemetery.
