John Angle Obituary

John Robert (Bob) Angle, 84, of Roanoke, passed away on Saturday, November 15, 2008. Bob was retired from Armour and Company. He enjoyed working in his woodworking shop and his creations can be found in many homes and businesses throughout the valley. Preceding him in death was his wife, Everleen Hopkins Angle; and stepdaughter, Darlene Hurley Link. His surviving family includes his special sweetheart of 19 years, Beulah Lynch; son, Freddie Angle and wife, Becky; daughter, Kathy Walker and husband, Clay; grandchildren, Dewaine Angle, Scott Angle, James Webber, and June Summerville; step grandchildren, Roby McDowell, Stephen Link, Bo Link, Jamie Link, and Missy Mullins; 4 greatgrandchildren; brother, Alva Angle and wife, Lavern; and sisters, Rowena Boone and husband, Arthur, and Ivy Rose Brubaker and husband, Lowell. The family would like to thank all family members and friends for their endless support and visits during Bob's many illnesses over the last few years. A period of visitation will be held on Monday, November 17, 2008, from 4 to 7 p.m. in the John M. Oakey & Son Chapel. A funeral service will then begin at 7 p.m. A committal service will be held on Tuesday, November 17, 2008, at 1 p.m. at Franklin Memorial Park. The Pastor Ken Nienke will officiate.
