I can remember so many times that Shawna and i were together. She was a great person to be with. We always had fun together no matter what we were doing. We got distant the past year and i didnt see much of Shawna but I wish that hadnt been the case. I miss her very much as well as you im sure. Shawna is still my best friend and always will be. My co-worker and friend, I love you and I am so very sorry that this terrible thing has had to happen. I have watched your children grow and mature over the past few years, as you have mine. I can say that Shawna was an inspiration to many. And yes she was and still is, beautiful on the inside and out, just like you. She could never have been blessed with a better mother. I will always be here for you, my prayers are with you, Travis and Stormi.

Donna, Travis and Stormi,
My mind is reeling with the thought that Shawna is no longer here. What remains are our indelible memories of Shawna's beautiful smile and her lively spirit and her remarkable love of learning opportunities. While other kids her age were sitting in front of the TV, Shawna was teaching young children at Boxerwood, kissing a fish at the Chesapeake Bay, earning travel money and hopping a plane to Costa Rica. She lived well and was loved by many, including me.

Im so sorry to hear of shawna's passing. She taught me everything I knew about cheerleading and became one of the closest friends I have. We didn't talk much because I wasnt in school, but she was very close to me anyway. She was so smart and beautiful and always found a way to make someone smile. I love her like she's part of my own family and I'm thankful that I had a chance to meet her.

I am so very, very sorry to hear of your daughter's accident. I never met her but everyone says that she was a beautiful girl inside and out. I wish I could do or say something that would ease your pain, but do know that she is in the arms of our Lord and you will see her again soon. I am very sorry for your loss. i didnt know Shawna very well but i do remember that everytime i talked to her she was one of the sweetest girls at school! she was on JV my senior year and i was on Varsity but i could tell she loved cheering just as much as i did. she will be missed dearly

Our daughters meet in Summer School and was very upset to hear about your loss. She kept saying how sweet and nice Shawna was and how this was just hard to believe that something like like this could happen. I'm really sorry about Shawna we all loved her very much. I was on comp. and football cheerleading with her. So we were like her second family. We spent a lot of time together because as you know cheerleading is our life, the only day that we were free were sundays. She was an amazing person and we will all miss her very much. We loved and cared about her so much, she was like an older sister to me. We will all pray for her and your family. She was a beautiful girl in so many ways. We will never go to another game or comp. without talking about her. You should be so proud of raiseing the daughter you did.
