Evelyn Sensabaugh Obituary

Evelyn Sensabaugh, 95, of Lexington, Va., died on Tuesday, December 2, 2008, in Golden Living Center. She was born October 20, 1913, in Rockbridge Baths, a daughter of the late Charles Franklin Sensabaugh and Nettie Myrtle Gaylor Sensabaugh. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Ed, Paul, Richard, and Leonard Sensabaugh; and three sisters, Alberta Serrett, Mable McCurdy, and Elsie McKemy. Surviving are a daughter, Gloria J. Slough, of Buena Vista; a sister, Eunice Virginia Higginbotham, of Rustburg; one grandchild; and one greatgrandchild. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. on Friday, December 5, 2008, at Harrison Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Randy Smith and the Rev. W.A. Mills officiating. Burial will follow in Rockbridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Harrison Funeral Home & Crematory, Lexington, Va.
