To the family of Aunt Ora,
Truly a wonderful and beautiful lady Aunt Ora was. In visiting her as often as I was able she remained the smiling lady and friendly too.
When I visited she and Uncle Robert in Blacksburg way back in the 70's they made me feel really like family, sleeping in their home will always be a great memory of mine, be able to take my Dad, (Charles) to visit them from time to time was super for him.
Old friends, family and God make this world so much of a pleasure to enjoy.
To the family may you all always know that you are loved and thought of often.

Ora Myrtle was a most joyful woman, with a hearty laugh and a kind heart. The Holliday family moved into my grandfather Cromer's house in Blacksburg and had the first TV we had ever seen. They shared everything they had, including the TV (Saturday wrestling was everyone's favorite then). Ora lived a long life and gave much to everyone she encountered. She will be joyfully met by Robert, Bobbi, Bill, Donald and Lisa.

FROM HER FATHER'S FUNERAL SERVICE CARD:

Crossing the Bar
Sunset and evening star~~~
And one clear call for me!
And may there be no moaning of the bar
When I put out to sea.
But such a tide as moving seems asleep,
Too full for sound or foam,
When that which drew from out the boundless deep
Turns again home.
Twilight and evening bell, ~~~
And after that the dark!
And may there be no sadness of farewell
When I embark.
For though from out our bourne of time and place
The flood may bear me far,
I hope to see my pilot face to face
When I have crossed the bar...
ALFRED TENNYSON

My Aunt Ora had the warmest smile I have ever seen. Although we did not see much of each other over the years, it was always a pleasure to be in her company. Although her memory was not good over the last 7 years that I visited with, you did tell me often that I looked like your "Daddy", always ending with that warm smile of yours. I will miss you very much and you have taken a small part of my life with you.

May God bless you and that he give comfort to those that survive you.

Your Loving Nephew, Junior Ray Cox
