Robert Robinson Obituary

Robert Theodore (Bobby) Robinson, 70, of Greenville, Va., died on Sunday, December 7, 2008. He was born on May 7, 1938, in Rockbridge County, a son of the late Charles V. Robinson and Gladys Hartless Robinson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Effie Higgins Robinson. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Surviving are five brothers, Clyde Robinson, of Glasgow, Johnny Robinson, of Fairfield, Charles L. Robinson, of Springfield, Glen V. Robinson, of Bealeton, Va., and Kenneth E. Robinson, of Locust Grove, Va.; and several loving nieces and nephews, especially, Wanda Sabin, Glenda Schlitz and J.R. Robinson. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. on Friday, December 12, 2008, at Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Chapel with Bishop Leon Wilhelm officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, December 11, 2008, at Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Buena Vista, Va.
