Aunt Mary was very special to me. One of my fondest memories was viewing the video of my Nana (her sister Alice) and Papa's 50th anniversary party. Aunt Mary had gotten her coat and was obviously trying to leave, but she had many people to visit with on her way out. Her Granddaughter-in-law, Lisa, waited patiently while she visited with each person, then would guide her toward the door, only to be stopped time and time again for a few words with someone else. This exit took up several minutes of the video and always made us laugh.

This was a lady who was truly loved by lots and lots of people and will be sorely missed. My deepest sympathy to you all.

To Mrs. Hylton's family: I was one of Mrs. Hylton's kindergarten students at Sunday School. She made such an impression on me and I have remembered her through the years. I loved exchanging Christmas cards with her in recent years -- her hand-written notes that remembered me after such a long time and distance, truly amazed me. What a life well lived! I wish you all comfort but rejoice with her as she sees her Jesus face to face! Love to all.

Aunt Mary was such a special person! I treasured her for lot of reasons but mostly because she was so much like my Nana. It helps to think that she is now with the people she loved and missed. My prayers and love are with you all.

Aunt Mary was the true definition of a southern lady. She had such a kind heart and many wonderful stories to share. She and Uncle Estein seemed to really love life and really love one another.

I remember Aunt Mary as a woman of grace and laughter. She had a great deal of class and made everyone feel welcome. She was a lot like my grandpa, Tom Turner, her brother. I remember you with fond memories.

I KNOW THERE MUST BE A TURNER REUNION IN HEAVEN. I CAN SEE THE SMILE ON DADDY'S FACE NOW, LIKE WHAT TOOK YOU SO LONG TO GET HERE, AND AUNT ALICE WITH HER HEAD THROWN BACK LAUGHING AND REJOICING.
