David Jonathan Collmann, 53, of Salem, Va., died on Wednesday, December 10, 2008. Memorial service 11 a.m. Saturday, December 20, 2008, at Sharon Baptist Church, Rice, Va. Arrangements by Oakey's Roanoke Chapel, 540-982-2100.

"The happiest people don't have the best of everything. They just make the best of everything that they have." David lived a simple life yet he loved and cared deeply. The rest he left up to God.

To the Collmann Family

I would have liked to have attended Davids service. I just found his obituary . It sadden me deeply to hear he had passed. Now that his battle is over I pray that he is a place he always wanted, one of love and compassion. May God be with him.
