Linda, Michael and Randy, I am so sorry for your loss. Your Mom and Dad will always have a special place in my heart. My whole family loved them. I remember Mom and Dad with them and I never will forget when my Dad died your Mom was so impressed with my son (a minister in Arizona) They always made West End Presbyterian Church a personal place. I know your Dad has not been fully here since he lost Dot and although we greive I know he is so happy to be with her again. Donna Ratliff Thompson (Buddy and Willies oldest daughter)

Dear Linda, Micheal and Randy,

I just saw in today's paper of Wayne's passing. I am so sorry. We know how you feel during this time and if there is anything you need please let us know. I know it is hard during the holidays having just going through the same thing last year with mom, but it is nice thinking back of the good times our familys had together. Just remember that they will always be in your heart.

Linda & Family,
Losing someone at this time of year is especially hard. So sorry to hear of Wayne's passing ... but I know where he is now and there is surely rejoicing going on! Hold on to that reassurance.

Dear Linda, Michael, and Randy:
We have such fond memories of Dot and Wayne...sitting on the beach under the tarp, shrimp at White Point, Make-Your-Own Sundaes, birthday parties, sitting at the pool, Christmas, etc. It's hard to believe they are both gone. We know you will, along with many others, miss them terribly. We hope you find comfort knowing that Wayne isn't missing Dot any longer and they are together again and at peace. Most sincerely, we are, Martha, Bill, Alexandra, and Taylor

Linda, Randy and Michael --
Mom (Iris) and Wayne go back to birth -- literally -- and he, Dot, Mom and Daddy were close buddies for so many years. Lots of beach trips and golf outings. They both were a delight and he was such a character. I'll have to go through Daddy's slides sometime and fish out all of the funny ones of them at our cabin and at Virginia Beach. We'll be thinking of you tomorrow and Saturday.
