Josaphine Dillion

Josaphine Dillon, of Roanoke, passed away on Thursday December 11, 2008. She was preceded in death by parents, John W. and Annie Altice Dillon; siblings, Claude Dillon, Olive Patillo and Melinea Ireland. She is survived by a brother, Paul Dillon; sister, Sarah Elizabeth Stanley; nieces and nephews, Matthew Dillon, Mary Osborne, Kathy Shinault, Larry Stanley, Sheila Long, Arlen Dillon, Karen Clark and Brenda Atkins. Josaphine retired from Fred Whitaker Company and worked many years for Vinton Weaving Mill. The family would like to thank the nursing staffs of Springtree Healthcare, South Roanoke Nursing Home and also the Neuro-Trauma unit of Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held at Oakey's North Chapel on Monday December 15, 2008, at 2 p.m. with burial to follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Sunday December 14, 2008, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at Oakey's North Chapel, 362-1237.
