Ralph Hoyle Obituary

Ralph Wayne Hoyle Sr., 69, of Troutville, Va., went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 14, 2009. He was a longtime member of Villa Heights Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife of 50 years, Martha Sower Hoyle; daughter, Kay H. Totten and husband, Bill, of Vinton; son, R. Wayne Hoyle Jr., of Troutville; daughter-in-law, Linda J. Hoyle; grandchildren, Jessica Hope Flores and husband, Steven, Matthew Wayne Hoyle, William Seth Hoyle, and Kimberly Brook Hoyle; great-grandchild, William (Chillie) Flores Jr.; and sister, Barbara (Bobbie) Flagg, of Salem. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Bus Fund, c/o Villa Heights Baptist Church, 3040 Challenger Avenue, Roanoke, Va. 24012. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. on Friday, January 16, 2009, at Villa Heights Baptist Church by the Pastor Jake Huffman. Interment will follow in Old Dominion Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, January 15, 2009, at Simpson Funeral Home, 5160 Peters Creek Road, 540-366-0707.
