I remember Mr. "Doc" always with a smile on his face and a kind word for everyone. I remember him letting me climb in his crabapple tree and his laugh as my cousin Von and I would race down the street on our bikes to see who was the fastest person in the world. I remember his old green Ford truck; and asking him if it was the oldest truck in the world. Doc was one of the nicest men I have ever met. I will miss him but always have kind thoughts of him.
