Richard Terrell Graham

Richard Terrell (Terry) Graham, 66, of Blacksburg, Va., passed away Wednesday, January 21, 2009, at Montgomery Regional Hospital. He was born in Newark, Del. on February 6, 1942, to the late Francis and Frances Robertson Graham. He retired from Virginia Tech in 2004 after 34 years as a professor in the College of Education. He is survived by his wife, Linda Graham, of Blacksburg; daughter and sonin-law, Jocylyn Anne and Wayne Surface, of Blacksburg; son and daughter-in-law, Richard C. and Jodi S. Graham, of Mainville, Ohio; brother and sister-in-law, Norris and Chris Graham, of Newark, Del.; grandchildren, Trevan Surface, Trent Surface and Lynden Surface; motherin-law, Betty Bostic, of Council, Va.; father-in-law, Jessie Bostic and wife, Linda; brother-in-law, Rick Bostic and wife, Sherry and their children, Amanda and Bradley, of Cedar Bluff, Va.; and many friends and past students. Services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2840 Electric Road, Suite 106A, Roanoke, Va. 24018.
