Dear Robbie,
I was so sorry to hear about your dad! I will always have the fondest memories of your parents and will never forget them. They always had a hug, a kiss on the cheek and wide smile for me no matter when I saw them! They were also always so very proud of you and would love to catch me up on what you had been "up to". Unfortunately, I also now know how much it hurts to lose a parent...you and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers in the days ahead.
Love,

Tonya LaTempa

Mr. & Mrs. Boyd were my favorite customers when I was a waitress at the Golden Corral Steak House in Salem (now Famous Anthony's). Actually they were "everyones" favorite customers! That was over twenty years ago when I was in high school and college and I still remember hoping that I would be so lucky to have a relationship like their's and always be so joyful! I know they are happily reunited today and will be loved and missed by more people than they could ever imagine. My prayers go out to your family as I know Mr. Boyd will be sadly missed. Sincerely, Tara Witt Caveness

So very sorry for your loss. Your father was truly a special person. He would come into our office for his eyeglasses to be adjusted. He was so very kind and he will be missed..

Robbie,
Your Dad will be missed. We continually have missed him as our neighbor the past couple of years. (We still call his former home "Mr. Boyd's house"!!!) Both your Mom and Dad were an inspiration......they talked about loving the Lord and going to Heaven - that was their goal. I can remember talking to your Mom when she was sick and she had such a peace and joy talking about going to her Heavenly home. It is a joy to know they are both finally sharing that part of their journey together now!
During one of our last visits with your Dad at Richfield he talked about wanting to be with Mildred so much. It was sad, but also very, very sweet and it touched us a great deal. We loved him!
