Dear David and Sue,
I was so sorry to hear of your Mother's passing, David, but know she lead a great life and had a wonderful influence on many. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

David and Sue, Not sending Christmas greetings I am just now starting the process of sending notes to my friends that I wanted to keep in touch with, and this a.m. I was saddened to see Lenora's obit in the Roanoke paper.
You had spoken of her condition in your Christmas card and I enjoyed hearing about her remarkable life, especially at her age. She looked great in the picture and really never changed in the years I knew her.
She and Mom had such a nice friendship and because of them, she became my friend. I know you all will miss her and I thank God for the pleasure of knowing her and having her as a friend.
I first met Lenora and Guy when they attended the same functions that my husband Ernie and I would attend in VA as Ernie and Guy shared the same profession (Town/City Manager). I do not recall when Guy passed away, Ernie was only 37 and serving as City Mgr of Bristol, VA., when he died and I did not have contact with Lenora again until she moved into the same apartment complex in Vinton as Mom.
To Jimmy a high school classmate of mine and to you all it is with sincere sympathy and understanding that I contact you.
