Frances Duff Obituary

Frances Reid Duff, 81, of Buena Vista, Va., died on Friday, February 6, 2009, in Golden Living Center. She was born on January 13, 1928, a daughter of the late Scott Reid and Viola Argenbright Reid. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert and James Reid. Mrs. Duff was a member of the First Brethren Church, Buena Vista. Surviving is her husband, William P. Duff; two daughters, Bonnie Wade and husband, William J., of Rockbridge Baths, and Bridgett Johnson and husband, Kenneth L., of Mechanicsville, Va.; a sister, Joelene Sanderson, of Buena Vista; and two grandchildren, Neil and Kim Johnson. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, February 10, 2009, at the Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Chapel with Pastor Terry King officiating. Internment will follow at Rockbridge Memorial Gardens, Lexington. The family will receive friends on Monday, February 9, 2009, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Home, Buena Vista, Va.
