Paul Cook Obituary

Paul Elwood Cook, 54, of Roanoke, Va., passed away on Friday, February 13, 2009. He was born in Roanoke County on February 19, 1955, to the late Irvin Sidney Allen Cook and Mary Ethel Helms Cook. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers; and two sisters. He is survived by his sisters, Brenda S. Fisher and Sharon (Carl) Barnette; brothers, Albert (Ann) Cook, Douglas (Francine) Cook, James Barry and Clarence Emerson Cook; aunt, Ruth Johnson; and a host of nieces, nephews and close friends. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. on Monday, February 16, 2009, in the Hamlar-Curtis Chapel with the Rev. Brian Davis officiating. The interment will be in Fair View Cemetery. The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the service. Friends may call on Sunday afternoon, February 15, 2009, for viewing at Hamlar-Curtis Funeral Home.
