Donna Fitzgerald Thomas, 49, of Natural Bridge Station, Va., passed away on Sunday, February 15, 2009, at her home with her family. She was born on June 26, 1959, in Rockbridge County, a daughter of Wyonna Hamilton of Buena Vista and the late David L. Fitzgerald Sr. Surviving are her husband, Carson B. Thomas Sr.; two daughters, Tracy Potter and husband, David, of Glasgow, and Cindy Beverly and husband, Joey, of Buena Vista; one son, C.J. Thomas, of Natural Bridge Station; two sisters, Linda Bryson and husband, Timmy, of Buena Vista, Cheryl Moore, of Natural Bridge Station; former husband, Randy Moore, of Buena Vista; one brother, David Fitzgerald Jr. and wife, Melissa, of Buena Vista; nine grandchildren, Gregory Austin Jr., Candance, Kelly and Timothy Johnson, Joey Jr., James and Channon Beverly, Cody and Logan Thomas; a special friend, Terry Jones, of Natural Bridge Station; a special aunt, Shirley Benjamin, of Stuarts Draft; and numerous nieces and nephews. Donna will be dearly missed and loved by all. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. on Thursday, February 19, 2009, at Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Chapel with the the Rev. Larry Clark, the Rev. William (Bill) Watson, and the Rev. Wayne Dickson officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, February 18, 2009, at Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Buena Vista, Va.
